It was picture day at school and I was standing in the assigned position given by the man behind the camera. He then instructed me to say "cheese" on the count of three. When he says "three" all of my classmates echo "cheese" while waiting patiently for their turn. The man comes out from behind the black cloth and laughingly says to me, "Where's your teeth, next time when I count to three I just want you to grin like this" and he smiles showing all his teeth.

I was seven years old and have never forgotten how humiliated I felt and from that time on my confidence and smiles suffered increasingly. I did not feel pretty and I always hated my pictures. As I grew older I could see that it was not my smile that lacked, but the fact that my teeth were too small for my mouth. A lifetime of hiding behind my right hand would be my resolve.
Recently I met Dr. Ross, and he said he could put the smile back on my face.

I instantly felt comfortable with him. He listened and sincerely cared about my history. Dr. Ross told me he planned to lengthen and add volume to my teeth using veneers, I could only dream that this would work for me after all these years, but the enthusiasm of Dr. Ross and all of his staff made it easy to make my decision.

Only months after my initial visit, I am a new person. I have retrained my right hand to stay away from my face while I smile freely 9"d proudly. My friends, family and co-workers cannot believe the complete change in me. Most of all, I cannot believe how the change in my appearance has affected me internally.
