Dr. Ross earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan and Alma College, both in Michigan. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University Dental School in 1983.

As he established his private practice, Dr. Ross also established a commitment to continuing education. In fact, he has attended many more continuing education courses than the average dentist has so he may provide his patients with the excellence in care they deserve.

A graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, (LVI), Dr. Ross has elevated his practice to include restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is among the top 1% of dentists nationwide to have undergone this extensive training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. LVI is a unique, hands-on, advanced training center for dentists worldwide that wish to develop a critical eye for excellence and offer amazing cosmetic and rehabilitative services to their patients.

So successful is he in this endeavor that he has been awarded a medal and recognized internationally for his smile designs through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s 9th Annual Smile Gallery Competition. The Annual AACD Smile Gallery Competition awards winners based upon technical skill in cosmetic dentistry. According to the AACD, these cosmetic dental professionals represent the essence of fine smile design and the upper echelon of the skilled members of the organization.

Dr. Ross has also undergone extensive training through the Academy of Laser Dentistry, receiving his certification in standard laser usage with both the Waterlase (erbium) dental laser and the soft tissue diode laser in March 2000. He attended the World Laser Symposium in Atlantic City, NJ, in August 2003, to further develop his skills in laser dentistry for the comfort of his patients.

For the complete comfort of his patients, Dr. Ross has been certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and has incorporated the advantages of lasers into his practice.
